Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not keep a copy of those searches. If you contact us, the operators receive the details included in your message and use them to respond.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting systems may record an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Those logs are reviewed in aggregate to maintain the service and understand which Apple Valley reference pages receive use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
The purposes are limited to running the service, correcting faults, measuring traffic, and improving the pages. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built.
Links Beyond This Site
Apple Valley research links may lead to the San Bernardino County ARC records index, the Superior Court online-services portal, the county library, the California Room, and third-party search tools. The destination's privacy policy governs what you submit there. Sponsored results are supplied by a third-party company and are subject to that provider's practices.
Who May Receive It
Hosting and technical service providers may process the server logs described above. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the related automatic data. Disclosure also occurs when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is not made.
Security and Retention
The connection is encrypted, and logs are retained only for as long as the purposes above require. No accounts are offered, so this service does not hold a password or user profile that could be exposed.
People Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18; if a minor's information was sent to us, contact us and we will remove it.
California Privacy Choices
Where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, Civil Code §1798.100 et seq., provide rights to know categories and pieces of personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete information subject to exceptions, limit certain sensitive-information uses, opt out of sale or sharing, and receive equal treatment for exercising those rights. Because this service keeps very little, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and available server logs, then removing what is within our control. Use the Contact page to ask.
The California Public Records Act, Government Code §7920.000 et seq., concerns access to identifiable records held by public agencies. It does not give this private service power to remove records held by the Town of Apple Valley, San Bernardino County ARC, Superior Court, or another custodian. The 2023 DELETE Act created a one-stop data-broker deletion mechanism administered through the California Privacy Protection Agency registry; rollout details and broker obligations can change. People who qualify for safety protections can review California Safe at Home, which may provide a substitute mailing address, confidential voter registration, a confidential name-change path, and possible DMV suppression. It does not erase information already made public.
